paying attention

yes - after I followed your directions (to a tee) it worked perfectly. First - Merry Christmas & may your New Year be filled with many wondrous new programs. Second, I don't believe people are not "happy" per say - even when something is free or not - for me (in particular) I am semi-retired & have a little spare time to try & evaluate what you are offering & it is often confusion & wasted time which leads me to unkind words (for that I'm sorry) but, in defense of myself, I have worked with computers & their "perfect" programs since 1969 (IBM card-fed beast) and have been a computer-technician since 1981 - I have a library of software(almost as big as the Library of Congress) in all types of media (tape to floppy to external hard drives) and from games to OS's - from Accounting Packages (12 sep units) to Publishing Software and all subjects in between. My computer (when I have all parts attached) holds 14 TB's of storage, has 4 PCIx Video Cards (Over 4GB of Vid memory) Quad core 3.7 and a couple of booster programs & much more which, for pride's sake I won't get into. It is the "waste" of time that is my frustration - unclear directions & perfectly working eval packs - when what I want to see is "the actual" program with all it's faults. I try to get back to you (GAOTD) within the 24 hours or so - but, if I miss our deadline - I still try to offer the company (through their contacts) the same info that I try to give you - help & reasoned criticism or suggestions. I may not always be first - but I try to weigh-in on issues I really see might add value for dollars (and don't worry - the ones suggesting price cuts are just not getting the idea - and the same can be said for the ones that keep asking for it to be made portable (I also think they missed the boat when reading your golden rules). If they want portable, suggest that they go to the author's site & download an evaluation package for their phone or USB stick & if they like the package - BUY IT! That is what keeps the wheels of THIS engine going. I have purchased a couple of games & a couple of programs - the reason for this is - they brought value into my life & I am using them on a constant basis. Well, enough of my dribble - Merry Christmas & have a Happy New Year 2012!
